Third Year, Semester 2, Week 7

A little bit of what I've been up to over the past two weeks;

I'm projecting slide shows into my images from first semester using a carousel slide projector. The slides were taken from my Grans house and ordered in the dates that they were taken, but I removed all the slides of my Grandparents and left gaps and empty slides in the carousel respectively (Although I prefer nothing being in the carousel to using empty slides - the whole room lights up!). Currently working on scanning my images better quality so that I can get them printed larger (A1 or A0) and so work with larger projections. At the moment the projector has to be very close to the image, and so the work appears more as a single piece, but I want it to be an immersive experience - the viewer will see the photographs/ slides, as well as hear the clicking of the carousel and the empty spaces will fill the room with light.

Using a carousel projector as it doesn't require someone to change the slides manually - the order of slides can be preselected, and the show doesn't have a distinctive beginning/ ending.

I have lots of videos of it, but they don't seem to want to load on here.
